New Snow In The Mountains Of West Virginia

Reports from Snowshoe Mountain this morning (10/29, 7 am) indicates that five inches of new snow is on the ground and it’s still snowing.  The snowguns are also operating getting ready for Snowshoe’s November 23 opening day.  Timberline Resort is opening 12/8, Winterplace 12/9 (earlier weather permitting), Canaan Valley 12/10 and Oglebay Resort mid-December.
